Thomas J. McCoy is President of the Employee Engagement Institute and Chief Solution Designer.

Since 1978 he has been a thought leader on how to use compensation to engage and motivate employees. He has developed incentive-driven, high performance cultures for corporations and private companies in the United States, Europe and South America.

He has been quoted in Newsweek, featured in the Wall Street Journal and nominated for SHRM’s Michael J. Losey award. He designed and taught a High Performance Workplace seminar at George Washington University and is a frequent conference speaker.

Mr. McCoy is the author of several books on compensation and engagement. The list includes: Compensation and Motivation,  Creating an Open-Book Organization,  Employee Engagement: The Framework for the Future, and the Employee Engagement Toolbox.

He holds a Lean Six Sigma Certification from Villanova University and a Coaching by Design Certification from the Johnston Institute. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Executive Service Corps of Greater Kansas City.

Cheryl Wright is an expert at partnering with business leaders to develop and execute human capital strategies that maximize productivity and ultimately, profitability.

She is passionate about helping companies understand the value of their human capital. She excels at assessing workplace environments and collaborating with managers to create and implement solutions that drive greater employee engagement.

She has over 30 years of experience across multiple industries including manufacturing, telecommunications and business services, and uses her vast experience to coach managers on how to optimize relationships with their employees.

Cheryl has held senior HR leadership positions in several companies. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, she received a Certificate in Executive Education from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Kirk is a job fit expert and the President of Job Match Assessment, Inc, serving over 260 clients. He is well experienced in recruiting, labor relations, engaging talent, succession planning and leadership assessment.

He is a 32 year HR veteran, who served Safelite AutoGlass, Unilever and Ernst & Young Consulting before starting JobMatch Assessment in 2002.

Mr. Young has an MBA from St. Louis University and a BS Psychology from Emporia State University. He holds SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications and is a PXT Select™ Authorized Partner, a Wiley Brand.

Kirk Perucca is an expert on diversity and inclusion. He excels at helping companies manage a diverse workforce and leverage their diversity to increase bottom line results.

He helps clients develop best practices through EEO and diversity audits, investigations and Affirmative Action plans. He conducts training and individual coaching on the topics of; Leveraging Diversity and Inclusion, Cultural Proficiency, and Preventing All Forms of Harassment.

Kirk has been a national compliance officer for the Department of Justice and spent 8 years as the CEO of a national nonprofit organization that promoted diversity. He holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in public administration. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

 

Doug WoodDoug Wood

Doug Wood is an expert in quality. He designs and implements programs that result in defect-free products and services. He understands that “quality” requires good processes and engaged employees.

He has over 30 years experience working in and consulting to the food, printing, health care and manufacturing sectors. He holds three American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, CMQ/OE, and is certified in Lean with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He has been a lead examiner with theKansas and theMissouri quality awards.

He teaches classes at many quality venues including ASQ and adds a unique perspective of engagement into the literature on quality. He is a past chair of the ASQ Quality Cost Committee and authored “The Executive Guide to Understanding and Implementing Quality Cost Programs”, ASQ Press 2007.

 

Susan Spaulding

Susan Spaulding is an expert at driving profitable growth through marketing, brand management and product alignment. She excels at growing market share and maximizing revenue by identifying customer expectations and aligning the brand, the marketing, the sales team and the products to fulfill these expectations.

She gained her expertise as an advertising executive, a business owner and as a principal in The Pert Group where she helped shape that organization into a global market research consulting firm.

She is as a licensed consultant of the Duct Tape Marketing system and has served on the Boards of the International Business Marketing Association, the Association for Corporate Growth-Kansas City and the American Marketing Association-Kansas City to name a few. She was honored in 2007 by The Kansas City Business Journal as part of Women Who Mean Business.
