The Value of Using a Culture Survey to Attract and Retain the Best Employees

The most important intangible in any search is evaluating how a candidate will fit into the company culture. For many organizations, culture is often difficult to describe and therefore challenging for potential candidates to assess.

What is it worth to have data that describes the culture, explains what it’s like working for the organization and identifies what types of people will excel in the environment?

The proper culture survey should provide all this information as part of a findings report. If you are using a culture survey, does it include actionable information on the quality of the work experience (QWE)? Information of this nature has proven to reduce new-hire churn because it helps manage expectations.
